Cotton
The main component of the denim consists of cotton, which feels pleasant on the skin. Cotton fibers have positive wearing properties: They make denim breathable and absorbent as well as easy to care for.
nylon
The nylon fibers spun in the yarn make the denim fabric much more resistant. Cordura® is a special nylon fiber that has much higher abrasion and tear properties and combines the advantages of natural and synthetic fibers. This means that holes develop less quickly and the pants can be worn longer.
Polyester & Spandex
A minimal proportion of polyester and elastane contribute to the fact that the jeans are elastic and at the same time do not bulge, but remain in their original shape. In addition, this increases resilience and makes them easy-care everyday trousers.
3 reasons for the Dreifeder jeans
you save money
Our jeans are a bit more expensive than "normal" jeans, but they last longer! Small example? You have to regularly buy new pants, which are cheap but have a hole again after a short time. A pair of Dreifeder jeans lasts many times longer, which saves you from constantly buying new ones.
You help to protect the environment
Did you know that a normal pair of jeans requires around 8,000 liters of water? In addition, it travels countless kilometers around the world if it is produced in Asia. We think that's too much and have therefore developed jeans that have a significantly longer lifespan.
You will love these jeans
Comfortable, elastic and comfortable to wear - this is what we often hear from our customers. Would you like an example? We almost only wear our mum and dad jeans now, because they are simply among the most comfortable in the closet.
No more holes in your pants!
We use a particularly abrasion-resistant denim fabric for our trousers. The abrasion resistance, which indicates how resistant a fabric is, is tested using the Martindale method and given in revolutions. A normal pair of jeans reaches an average of around 50,000 revolutions before the fabric shows a defect. We have the material used for the Dreifeder jeans up to 600,000 revolutions have something checked more than 10x higher value corresponds. Even at this value, there is still no defect.
A little insider information: One of the most well-known motorcycle manufacturers also uses this denim fabric for its motorcycle jeans.
The right pants for every situation
It's not just the children who often scoot around on their knees while playing - no, so do mums and dads. Be it when cleaning up, playing with the kids or just in everyday life.
The mom and dad jeans don't feel like thick, stiff jeans, quite the opposite: thanks to elastane, the jeans are super comfortable and you're guaranteed to forget that you're wearing sturdy jeans.
Fairly made in Portugal
Our products are made exclusively in northern Portugal. So you can be sure that the clothes are manufactured under absolutely fair conditions. In addition, unnecessary and environmentally harmful transport halfway around the world is no longer necessary.

frequently asked Questions
On the product page under "Size Guide" you will find a detailed measurement table, which you can compare with a pair of matching jeans.
For us, the production of an additional cut is always associated with high costs, since we have to buy a certain minimum quantity.
The papa jeans are new to our range and we would like to see how customers like them first.
The materials we use all go through a long development process, in which we test the abrasion resistance using a specially conducted Martindale test in a certified laboratory with P240 sandpaper.
To make the jeans so robust, a specially developed, durable nylon fiber is spun into the yarn. In order to ensure optimal wearing comfort and absolute freedom of movement, the fabric used also contains elastane. All of these advantages could not be combined in a fabric made from pure natural fibers.
No, our jeans are very comfortable to wear and are made from 11.75 oz denim. This corresponds to the usual thickness of adult jeans - there is no noticeable difference. In addition, our trousers are all pre-washed during the production process to ensure the best possible wearing comfort.
With time and frequent wearing and washing, the jeans can become lighter in the most stressed areas. This is a normal process in jeans and does not affect its durability.
A denim fabric consists of a warp yarn that is dyed blue on the outside and a weft yarn that is dyed white. Friction causes the blue-colored upper layer to become thinner and the lighter yarn to shine through more – that’s why there are also optically light-colored jeans, which always have a dark indigo color at the beginning of the production process.
