Using Cordura denim, a material that's up to 10x more durable than conventional denim, we ensure your children can move freely without you having to worry about worn knees or ripped seams.
What makes the jeans so robust?
Our jeans are made from a special denim fabric with Cordura. This is a special nylon fiber that has significantly higher abrasion and tear resistance, combining the advantages of natural and synthetic fibers. During the manufacturing process, these fibers are cut and re-spun. This creates a crimped structure, which is also found in natural fibers such as wool or cotton. Unlike these fibers, however, Cordura is more abrasion-resistant, allowing the material to withstand extended wear and tear without significant signs of wear. For this reason, it is often used for outdoor, work, and military clothing. Cordura also benefits from the usual nylon properties: It is water-repellent and dries quickly.
But what does that mean for you and your children? Quite simply: These jeans can withstand even the toughest wear and tear – whether playing in the park, riding a bike, or climbing trees.

We had the materials used for our Dreifeder jeans tested by independent laboratories in Switzerland to guarantee that they meet our specifications. Abrasion resistance, which indicates how durable a fabric is, is tested using the Martindale method and expressed in revolutions. On average, a pair of jeans reaches around 50,000 revolutions before the fabric develops a defect. We had the material used for our Dreifeder jeans tested up to 600,000 revolutions , which is more than 10 times higher . Even at this value, it still shows no defects.

These jeans are great! Our daughter has been wearing them all the time outside (ever since she could crawl). They're very sturdy yet lightweight. The jeans are still intact after 6 months (other pants have definitely suffered more damage) and look great. Highly recommended!
